Ann Brodie’s Carolina Ballet Company Audition

August 26 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The upcoming season will be the companies 30th Anniversary!

Registration will open at 1:00 PM – Audition Fee $10 Cash
Auditions will begin promptly at 2:00 PM

Placement Requirements for Company Dancers-

*Senior Ensemble: Placement at the Director’s Discretion, Ladies must be pointe proficient, and must be willingly to sign a commitment contract for the duration of the season

*Senior Company: Must be at least 12 years of age by June 1st, 2017, Ladies must have at least two years of pointe experience

Junior Company: Must be at least 10 years of age by June 1st, 2017

Junior Apprentice: Must be at least 8 years of age by June 1st, 2017

Audition Dress Requirements-

Girls/Ladies: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers/pointe shoes, slick ballet bun, and light make-up

Boys/Men: White leotard or T-shirt, black tights or black bike shorts, white socks and shoes or black socks and shoes

Company Requirements:
-All parents must attend a Company meeting. Date and time will be posted the day of the audition
-All company member families are expected to purchase a Carolina Ballet Season Membership, at least at the Patron level. Come prepared to purchase a membership the day of the audition
-Senior Ensemble Members will be signing a contract which is binding commitment to ALL Carolina Ballet productions and activities during the season, including the summer academy classes
-Senior Ensemble and Senior Company members must take a MINIMUM of five ballet classes and one enrichment (additional style of dance) class per week with approval by the Artistic Director
-Junior Company and Junior Apprentice members are expected to take a MINIMUM of three ballet classes per week with the approval of the Artistic Director
– Please come to the audition with a completed form, (which are available onwww.carolinaballet.net or www.cmfaonline.com) and be prepared to pay all fees
– Auditions will be conducted under the direction of Executive Director, John Whitehead, and Artistic Director, Mimi Worrell
– Carolina Ballet is an open audition process for all qualified dancers

*ATTENTION ALL DANCERS AUDITIONING FORM SENIOR LEVEL COMPANY POSITIONS!*
~It will be a requirement that those auditioning at this level bring a biography and resume with them at the time of the audition
