The Junior members of Ann Brodie’s CAROLINA BALLET take the stage at the CMFA Artspace to present this unique work specifically commissioned for Ann Brodie’s Carolina Ballet. Working closely with Artistic Director, Mimi Worrell, acclaimed composer Dr. Richard Maltz wrote the music specially for this staging. His composition was performed live during the first production conducted by Maltz himself. The selected stories interpret morals. They become teaching tools for children in short performances designed to keep them interested throughout. Noted character actor, Cory Summerall will reprise his role as Aesop. Members of the Senior Company will join the Juniors in the prologue portraying Apollo and his three Muses. A small reception to meet the cast will follow each production.
Seating is limited and reservations are encouraged.
