Celebrating First Thursday on Main

The Columbia Music Festival Association along with The Pastor’s Study special event venue will be presenting artworks by visual artist Maya Smith. The artist often utilizes a variety of media including graphite, colored pencils, or acrylic paint. The imagery she creates typically features visually realistic people depicted in stylized or fantastic settings. Maya the Artist uses image making as a vehicle to celebrate the diversity of people. This will be the first time this locally respected artist will be exhibiting in The Pastor’s Study. While viewing the art, open house refreshments will be available for purchase at Lula Drake Wine Parlour downstairs in this beautiful, historic building.
